Me

Stefania Gonzalez is a first-generation Venezuelan-Italian-Spanish-American actor, singer, and creator from Saline, Michigan. She is a graduate from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance with a BFA in Acting and a minor in Spanish Language and Literature. She has also studied at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts in Classical Acting, the National Theater Institute at the O’Neill Center in their Theatremakers Program, NYU Stonestreet, and the Atlantic Acting School. Since moving to Michigan at the age of 9, the arts have been Stefania’s community to find friends, teachers, and mentors, and to tell stories. Performing has been an outlet to share the humanity of the world with other artists and audiences. She wishes to always focus on the audience's impact in whatever she does. Throughout her studies, Stefania’s interest in theater as social intervention and action has taken precedence in forming her career as well as understanding that acting is a joyful art form meant to be fun! Classical acting, contemporary theater, voiceover, audiobooks, film/TV, and theater for social change are Stefania’s preferred forms of performance, though she will never turn down an opportunity to try something new and love it. She is SAFD certified in 5 weapons and has experience fight and intimacy choreography.

 

Stefania loves to travel when not performing (though sometimes the two coincide). She also takes pleasure in reading novels and plays, crocheting, playing board games, listening to podcasts, and writing short stories.
